Operations Coordinator and Trainer

Description
This position is responsible for analyzing training needs, delivering courses and coordinate of programs to be delivered to employees. Additionally, this role provides customer service and supports other administrative functions for the lot operations department.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Confers with management, supervisors and employees to gain knowledge of work situations requiring training and to better understand changes in policies, procedures, regulations, business initiatives and technologies

  • Develops, schedules, implements and delivers training programs for varying level of individuals with auction.

  • Documents procedures for the auction.

  • Obtains relevant data and maintains company vehicle log on a daily basis.

  • Process all lot operations department paperwork. Forward all invoices and items to be posted to the appropriate areas in a timely manner.

  • Assist in the coordination of sale day line-up and execution of sale day activities (i.e., drive, assist customers in locating vehicles, etc.).

  • Visibly demonstrate safety commitment by following all safety and health procedures and modeling the behaviors related to such. Actively participate in support of all safety activities aligned with Safety Excellence.

  • Perform basic data entry into the AS 400 computer system as needed.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by management


Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

  • 1 - 3 years customer service experience required. Previous clerical or administrative experience preferred.

  • Facilitator background extremely helpful.

  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively across teams.

  • Ability to trouble shoot and provide root cause analysis.

  • Must be able to speak in public and deliver training programs.

  • Effective communication skills to all levels within auction required.

  • Good problem-solving, follow thru and organizational skills required.

  • Ability to operate general office equipment (i.e., copier, fax machine, etc.).

  • Proficient computer software skills required (i.e. Microsoft Suite, AS 400).

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods of time.

  • Ability to perform repetitive data entry tasks; manual dexterity and lift 25 lbs.

  • Vision abilities required include close, distance and depth perception.

  • Automotive background a plus.


Work Environment:
Office setting primarily but must be flexible to work during all conditions on the outside lot.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
