Operations Support Analyst
JOB SUMMARY:
Under indirect supervision, performs various routine to complex recurring and ad-hoc clerical administrative and control tasks to ensure timely and accurate completion and delivery of various required reports, paperwork, and data entry in accordance with PSC and department policies, practices and procedures.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provides a wide variety of clerical and staff support services to support department processes and reporting requirements.
  • Completes all required paperwork affecting employee transactions and submits to appropriate department for timely processing: completes and submits new hire paperwork, ensures benefit enrollment and 401k forms are completed by employee and submitted on time.
  • Orients new employee to department processes, procedures, practices and policies. Collects, enters and submits all payroll data for department employees in accordance with payroll deadlines.
  • Collects and enters into appropriate system all work order tickets. Processes information submitted by field in accordance with department standards.
  • Responds to field and employee inquiries and resolves associated issues. May direct the work of department clerical staff to ensure work is completed on time.
  • Acts as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company regarding administrative issues related to purchasing, personnel, facilities and operations. Performs other duties as required

DEMONSTRATED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
  • Generalized knowledge of employee paperwork, payroll timekeeping, department processes and standards.
  • Developed communication skills, both written and oral Well developed organization & multi-tasking skills Well developed attention to detail Computer proficiency with the ability to utilize and setup Office 2000 Word, Excel, & PowerPoint files.
  • Ability to perform arithmetic calculations Problem solving skills Customer service skills



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
